The current experience on SafetyCulture's template editor, has no way to customise the inspection templates. The editor uses system defaults for all text, colours and layout.
As apart of the Reporting team, I began looking at simple ways we could begin to allow customers style their reports so it matched their brand. A lot of our customers used their inspection reports they exported from SafetyCulture, to then send to their own clients. They wanted the reports to feel more branded.
A first step was to use the existing logo upload, and add a colour generator. Where the colours automatically pick a legible, accessible colour scheme from the logo, and distributes those colours throughout the report.
